ArrivalLane: Delivery Date Rules Engine

What it does

Shoppers who know when their order will arrive buy more and ask "where is my order?" less. ArrivalLane puts an honest delivery date on every product page using rules you write once: "in stock: 2–3 days," "out of stock: ships in 2 weeks," "gift cards: no badge."

Rules check top-down — product, collection, tag, type, vendor, stock status, zone — and the first matching rule decides the date. A live tester shows exactly what shoppers will see before you publish anything. Digital products and gift cards are excluded automatically, so delivery dates only appear where they make sense.

The badge is a theme app extension block you place in the theme editor — no code to touch — and Shopify removes it automatically if you ever uninstall.

The honest version: ArrivalLane shows the dates your rules produce — it doesn't track parcels or know about carrier delays. If your warehouse falls behind, update the rule; the badge follows. Dates are only as honest as the rules behind them, and the live tester exists so you can check before shoppers do.

Status: ArrivalLane is pre-launch and on hold while we focus on getting StockLane launched. We'll revisit it once StockLane is in merchants' hands.

Questions merchants ask

Do I need to edit my theme code?

No. The delivery date is a theme app extension block — you place it in the theme editor with a click. If you uninstall, Shopify removes it automatically.

What about digital products and gift cards?

They're excluded automatically. Delivery dates only appear on shippable products.

Does ArrivalLane track my shipments?

No — it displays the dates your rules define. For live tracking status, use your carrier's tracking. ArrivalLane's job is setting the right expectation up front.
