Terms of service
Effective: September 29, 2026. These terms cover all Wardwell Shopify apps — StockLane, ExemptSafe, BulkSafe, ShipDate, and MarginFloor. By installing or using any Wardwell app, you agree to these terms.
Wardwell is a sole proprietorship operated by Matt Jorgensen, San Antonio, Texas. ("Wardwell", "we", "us").
What the apps do
Wardwell apps run inside your Shopify admin and help with store operations — for example, StockLane monitors inventory across your locations and sends a daily low-stock digest. Each app's listing page and in-app documentation describe what it does. We may update features over time; the core job each app promises in its listing won't silently change into something else.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed by Shopify, not by us — subscription charges appear on your Shopify invoice, and Shopify's billing terms apply to payment processing, proration, and cancellations. Current plan prices are shown on each app's Shopify App Store listing and inside the app before you subscribe.
- Beta period. While an app is in beta, it is free to use. We will give at least 14 days' notice inside the app and by email before paid billing begins for your store.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from inside the app or from your Shopify admin (Settings → Apps and sales channels). Cancellation stops future charges; Shopify does not refund partial billing periods.
- Price changes. If we change a plan's price, existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice and can cancel before the new price takes effect.
Your responsibilities
- You must have the authority to install apps on the Shopify store (store owner or staff with app permissions).
- Use the apps for lawful business purposes. Don't attempt to breach, probe, or overload our systems, and don't use the apps to process data you have no right to process.
- Digest emails and alerts go to the recipients you configure — keep that list current.
Data and privacy
How we collect, use, and delete your data is described in our privacy policy, which is part of these terms. Uninstalling an app deletes your shop's data from our systems as described there.
Support
Support is available at [email protected] and through the in-app help widget. We aim to respond within one business day. Support conversations may be handled with AI assistance; requests that need a closer look are escalated for additional review.
Warranties and liability
The apps are provided "as is". We work hard to keep them accurate and reliable, but inventory data depends on your Shopify store's data and Shopify's platform — we can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we aren't responsible for business decisions you make based on app output (for example, purchase orders you place from reorder suggestions).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wardwell's total liability for any claim relating to the apps is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost sales.
Termination
You can stop using the apps at any time by uninstalling them. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or for non-payment, with notice where practical. On termination, your data is deleted per the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the apps evolve. Material changes get at least 14 days' notice inside the app or by email to your store's contact address. Continued use after the notice period means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas.
